Located one block outside of the Center City District, the Shampoo Night Club in Philadelphia is the largest nightclub in the city.  Built out of a multilevel warehouse, the Shampoo Night Club in Philadelphia offers surprise and discovery around every corner.  Graffiti artists can be found creating masterpiece artwork before your eyes, and house beats thump at incredible levels as bodies gyrate on the dance floor.  Lighting effects will dazzle your eyes and give a surreal feeling to the surroundings.  Four bars support this gigantic space.

Leave the main dance area and discover six more cavernous rooms, each with its own style and flair.  There’s the open-air Groove Garden (open during the warmer months with a welcome Jacuzzi), the Dance Hall Blue Room, the Fountain Room, the downstairs Velvet Underground (typically reserved as a VIP area), the smaller White Room for a more intimate, disco atmosphere, and more.  During the winter months and on special occasions, the Far Side is open, with an additional 10,000 square foot of warehouse space available for the party to expand and thrive.

Previous surprise events at the Shampoo Night Club in Philadelphia include the city’s Miss Phoenix riding in on her high horse and Lifted’s Summer Block Party.  “Smile Thursdays” are college party nights.  Shaft Fridays draw more of a gay crowd, with its promise of weekly drag shows.
